This 356 VIN *11636* was manufactured as early as July 1952 and delivered new in Luzern (Swiss), still equiped with “close” bumpers . Arlready refreshed some years ago but resprayed in Silver metallic (see picture of the car as bought ) we decided that such an important vehicle deserved an in depth restoration, able to give it back its original colour, Radium green.
Pictures of the body, after a complete dismantling by our best Italian Masters, show clearly that albeit sound, the body still showed traces of a long and tumultuous life. We will not save any effort to give it back its former glory, with new metal when necessary, but without any use of botox.
We believe this is a very unique opportunity for the enthusiast collector to embark with us in this rebirth, which shouldn’t be too scary, by the way. All parts and components being already within our hands and ready to be renovated and brought back to the early days of this gracious Lady.
