This stunning 356 AT2 VIN 100357 was sold new in the US the 20th of May 1957, with a much desired Open roof otion.
Reimported in Germany, the old warrior benefited of a very high end restoration at no cost by la “creme de la creme” of the Porsche 356 specialists in Germany. Karl Hloch for all the mechanical, Hackenberg for the body and Mischke for the paint job. An impressive file of 180 invoices plus a photographic documentation come with the car to acknowledge what a” Made in Germany restoration ” means.
The car is equiped with very rare rudge hubs and wheels with central locking, Speedster buckets, wide 60 mm Carrera brakes, a 4 in 1 exhaust. Also with a rear anti-camber spring, a VDS original wooden wheel. No effort was spared to lighten the car. Plexi windows with leather straps “à la Carrera GT” and an aluminium boot lid with louvres are an expensive must !
