Maserati Merak SS 3.0 V6 1978. Only 652 built.
Designed by the excellent Giorgetto Giugiaro, our Italian coupe is a second SS version completely evolved compared to the original concept with fewer Citroën components, a new dashboard, new suspensions with a new reliable engine and increased to 220 horsepower with a 3-liters V6. It is the engineer Alfieri who develops the car with excellent driving behaviour thanks to the position of the rear central engine and a ZF gearbox with limited slip.
Our tipo chassis AM 122 A n°1656 was delivered new in Italy on February 2nd 1978 and had only three owners in his life, always matching numbers and colors. A complete quality paint has just been done in its elegant original Argento 106, its red leather interior is still completely original, the carpets are recent, it is equipped with the system of headlight and electric windows and car radio of the time, the SS will be produced from 1975 to 1983 at only 652 exemplars. This elegant SS coupe will be delivered completely overhauled with an expertise in approved value, invoice file, technical inspection and French vehicle registration.
