The Giulia GTA made its first public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in 1965. Developed by the Ingeniere Carlo Chiti at Autodelta as a full bread racing car able to ripost efficently to some new comers like the Cortina Lotus and other BMW’s. With all openings made in Aluminium, a lowered châssis and a newly developped Twin-spark 1600 cc engine, the car weighted only 795 kg and developped initially 115 hp.
This great package became hard to beat and gave the GTA a well awarded reputation. 450 cars were made in LHD.
The model offered here is a Tipo 10502A with chassis Number 613295 and cumulates numerous participations to major events like Tour Auto, Pau GP and others. Preparation by Rotondi in Fresnes, the French Conrero agent. All aluminium body-parts still original. Centered tank.
